AUR President George Simion said on Prima TV that he hates “this artificial state called the Republic of Moldova” and explained that the neighboring country will never join the European Union and that this does not mean unification, but that we will be like Germany and Austria.
George Simion was asked Saturday on the Insider Politic show why it is banned in the Republic of Moldova.
“For my trade union activity. This is the topic of the week. Everyone knows. All my life I was banned in the Republic of Moldova. The Prime Minister announced, Prime Minister Rechan at the request of Prime Minister Marcel Čolaka. Marcel Ciolacu, instead of pursuing the unionist goal of the Romanian nation, engages in discrediting his political opponents. I also have a ban in Ukraine. No one talks about extremism. Kelemen Hunor is banned in Ukraine, for example, because he made the same mistake, so to speak, because he spoke about the Hungarian minority, whose rights are not respected, he was not allowed. I was talking about the massacre at Fontana-Alba and Lunk, committed during the Second World War by the Soviet authorities, mainly Ukrainians. I said that the Kyiv authorities should also take responsibility, and I woke up with this ban in the Republic of Moldova. The prime minister said that I am suspected of destabilizing the situation,” said the AUR president, quoted by news.ro.
Simion was also asked whether he does not believe in the possibility of the Republic of Moldova joining the European Union and thus returning to the European community.
“The European project now has its difficulties. The Republic of Moldova will never join the European Union, and this does not mean de facto reunification, it means that we are like Germany and Austria. Or we Romanians on both banks of the Prut were divided by two historical criminals, two dictators, Stalin and Hitler through the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact, and I believe that the solution is in the current international treaties, in the current alliances of which we are a part, the alliance is peaceful, like the Germans (…) This does not contradict any contract, if it is done by the will of the parties. The gentlemen from Chisinau don’t want, they kicked me out, they want to have their own state, they want to have a government, parliament, president, they want to have their borders, they want to support them from Alexander Soros to the World Bank and other people who don’t care. The Republic of Moldova is now not in the Romanian, but in the German orbit, in the orbit that belongs to the spheres of international influence. But at the moment, the state of the Republic of Moldova does not have these Romanian elements of its statehood,” the AUR leader explained.
