>> Novak Djokovic, an unreal result – the Serb breaks records even when he is not playing

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are on the same plane on their way to the USA

They boarded the same plane that took them to the United States of America.

In the USA, two great champions will return to the tennis court. The Serbian after his semi-final loss at the Australian Open to Yannick Sinner, and the Iberian after his loss in Brisbane to Jordan Thompson (in the quarter-finals).

The plane that brought them to American soil “carried” 46 Grand Slam titles, with Nole and Rafa currently the players with the most trophies won in their careers (Joker 24, Nadal 22).

Next, Nadal will play an exhibition match against Carlos Alcaraz in Las Vegas on March 5, before taking part in the ATP 1000 tournament in Indian Wells.

On the other hand, Djokovic will want to make an American double from Indian Wells (March 6-17) and Miami (March 20-31) – The Sunshine Double.

What you need to know about Rafael Nadal

  • At the age of 37, Rafael Nadal won 1,070 career victories and lost 221 times.
  • He has 92 ATP titles won over a period of time, and 22 of them are Grand Slam tournaments (two titles behind record holder Novak Djokovic).
  • Prior to the tournament in Brisbane (a few weeks ago), Nadal played his last official match at the Australian Open early last year when he lost to Mackenzie Macdonald in the second round.
  • Rafa has since missed the entire 2023 season with hip problems and underwent surgery last June.
