Rockets that cost around £100,000 each. They are laser guided and are considered very accurate, especially effective against moving targets such as tanks.

The UK has previously supplied a number of Brimstone missiles used by Ukrainian forces, including by modifying trucks to be launched from truck platforms.

In 2022, The Telegraph reported that Ukrainian forces had modified the trucks to be able to use long-range missiles, which are normally launched from the air, to destroy Russian tanks.

Shapps said “missiles have had a significant impact on the battlefield in the past, in one case forcing Russian troops to retreat and abandon an attempt to cross a river.”

According to the Kiel Institute for World Economics (IfW Kiel), which tracks international aid to Ukraine, Great Britain is the third largest provider of military aid to Ukraine, having committed €9.1 billion as of January 2024.
