Iga Sviatek easily beat Qinwen Zheng in the Dubai quarter

Iga Svyatek continues his impeccable course from Dubai.

The world number one qualified for the semi-finals after defeating Qinwen Zheng (7 WTA) at the end of the match, which lasted one hour and 27 minutes.

In the penultimate act of the competition, Iga will meet the winner of the duel between Coco Gauff (3 WTA) and Anna Kalinska (40 WTA).

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships runs from February 18 to 24 on hard, is part of the “WTA 1000” category and has a total prize pool of $3,211,715. Simona Halep won the tournament in 2015 and 2020, and the reigning champion is Barbora Krejcikova.
