Manchester City moved up to second place in the Premier League after beating Brentford 1-0 in their round of 16 tie.

“Manchester City” is one point behind leaders “Liverpool” in the Premier League

Pep Guardiola’s side quickly recovered from a draw with Chelsea three days ago.

In the home game against Brentford, Erling Haaland scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute after a quick counter-attack and delay from the opposition’s defence.

The Norwegian scorer scored again in the 80th minute, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

The result moves Manchester City into second place in the table, one point ahead of Arsenal and one behind leaders Liverpool.
