On Tuesday night, when asked by Euronews Romania if he was progressive or conservative, Nikusor Dan replied that he was a technocrat.

“I consider myself a technocrat. You saw that there were countless positions taken on this matter, I did not define myself in one way or another (progressive or conservative – no), I think I can bring added value to the public administration in Romania, especially in Bucharest, that is therefore, I want to be welcome to both conservative and progressive audiences, and I allow this discussion to take place in society with all arguments and with all frankness, and I would like each of these two categories of people to have an understanding of the other’s point of view.” , – said Nikushor Dan, News.ro reports.

When asked how he voted for the family in the referendum, the mayor replied that he came to vote, but he would not reveal how he voted.

“I answered at that moment, I was at the family referendum, but I didn’t say how I voted, and I won’t say how. Because I don’t want to position myself in this ideological dispute, and I think that for the position I’m in now, it’s important that people who want good changes in Bucharest find themselves in what I’m saying. Yes, everyone is free to interpret how… I told you exactly, I exactly recreated what happened now, if I’m not mistaken, 6-7 years ago,” answered Nikushor Dan.
