Supplement used by Simona Halep allegedly contains “unknown Chinese ingredients”

Last week, Simona Halep’s lawyers filed a lawsuit against the Canadian company Quantum Nutrition, which produced the supplement used by the former world leader.

Tennisuptodate.com claims that the Keto MCT product contains unknown Chinese ingredients, which means that the arguments Simone used in her defense at TAS are very valid.

The Canadians would use Chinese ingredients instead of the Pacific ingredients they had to list in the prospectus.

Halep is seeking $10 million in damages in a lawsuit filed in New York.

Keto MCT’s product description only lists four ingredients from premium coconuts, but the problem comes with hydrolyzed Pacific marine collagen peptides.

The formula is said to restore collagen, but there is no warning in the leaflet about Roxadustat, which is used instead to treat anemic people, the US publication claims.
