Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the Bayern Munich roster to replace Thomas Tuchel

Bayern Munich are “monitoring” former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a potential interim coach if Thomas Tuchel is sacked, the Daily Mail reports.

The Bavarians have suffered three consecutive defeats, two in the Bundesliga, where the team reached an eight-point advantage, and one in the Champions League, where they need to make up for a one-goal deficit in the round of 16.

Tuchel has been criticized especially after Bochum’s win at the weekend and the pressure on him has increased, with names such as Xabi Alonso or Hansi Flick already being rumoured.

However, Sky Germany are announcing that it is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who could take charge of the team at the Allianz Arena.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 50-year-old coach is being considered as a potential replacement, although the club’s management has yet to make a decision on Tuchel’s replacement.

The news came as a big surprise as the Norwegian arrived after a poor spell at United, the club he left in 2021.

Now Solskjaer works for UEFA as a technical observer at Champions League matches.
