
A 15-year-old boy was stabbed by a teenager two years older than him after he refused to give him cigarettes, Roman TV reports.
The incident happened on Wednesday in the Municipal Park in Roman, when a 15-year-old student was approached by a 17-year-old boy to ask him for a cigarette.
He was refused, and the 17-year-old stabbed himself in the thigh.
Both teenagers are high school students in the municipality of Rome, but the aggression happened outside of school hours.
According to IPJ NeamÈ›, quoted by Monitorul NeamÈ›, the 17-year-old boy was detained for 24 hours and is being investigated for crimes related to assault or other violence, as well as illegal carrying or use of dangerous objects.
