In January, a woman filed a complaint against actor Gerard Depardieu for sexual assault during filming in Douai-en-Anjou (Maine-et-Loire) in March 2014, according to a complaint seen by AFP and published by Le Courrier de l’Ouest.

The complaint was filed on January 9, 2024 at the Paris police station for “sexual abuse of a vulnerable person by a person abusing his official position.”

According to the document, the alleged facts date back to March 2014.

According to Le Courrier de l’Ouest, the actions described by the woman, a former nurse at the age of 24, took place “during the filming of the film +Le Magicien et les Siamois+ directed by Jean-Pierre Mocky.”

In an interview with a regional newspaper, a young woman, who wished to remain anonymous, condemned, in particular, “his palms all over the body” and “obscene words” of the actor on the set.

In December 2020, 75-year-old Gerard Depardieu was charged with rape and sexual assault following a complaint by actress Charlotte Arnaud, who reported two rapes at the actor’s home in Paris in late August 2018.

A complaint by actress Hélène Darras, who accused Gerard Depardieu of sexually assaulting her during filming in 2007, was dismissed in late December due to the statute of limitations.

In December 2023, Spanish journalist and writer Ruth Baza also filed a complaint in Spain against the actor for rape in Paris in 1995.
