RedBull’s new single-seater for Max Verstappen’s fourth consecutive title

Last season’s champion presented the new RB20, with which Max Verstappen will once again be the big favorite this year in an attempt to win a fourth consecutive world title, writes Mundo Deportivo.

RedBull wants to stay at the top of the hierarchy at all costs, but the results of last season are difficult to compare.

Having won 21 victories in 22 races in 2023, the Austrians achieved an absolute record in Formula 1. Max Verstappen blasted the competition with 19 wins, while Sergio Perez managed two.

In addition, the Mexican, who is out of contract at the end of 2024, must improve his performance compared to Verstappen to secure a new commitment.

At an event on Thursday night, RedBull unveiled a new single-seater similar to the RB19, but with more styling and refinement.

“I am excited. For me, the tests in Bahrain will be more important, where I feel comfortable with the car. It will be a long season and we will try to win as many races as possible,” said champion Max Verstappen.

“I’m very happy to see what the whole team has achieved. This is an incredible concept. It’s time to hit the track,” said Sergio Perez.
