Output terminals
Today, and already several years ago, the electric car is on the rise, and its market share continues to increase. So, while more and more of them are in circulation, the number of terminals must also increase accordingly. And fortunately, it really is. And it is not for nothing that last September almost every fifth registered car was 100% electric. Fortunately, in May 2023 we reached our first ambitious milestone: 100,000 charging stations open to the public. This dense network makes it easier to travel by electric car both on highways and in megacities. Major highway networks are now equipped, and megacities are increasing the number of available terminals for all. These terminals have different capacities, as 50% are medium capacity AC charging points (from 7.4 to 22 kW) and 16% are high-speed DC terminals.
There is an exception to the end of sales of diesel cars in 2035, voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are not many of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice, it will be necessary to return pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

Everything is not rosy
However, not everything is perfect, on the contrary. And it is not for nothing that the latest Avere report shows a less positive point: the average availability of terminals has decreased in one year. As of January 31, 2023, it averaged 86% for AC terminals, 83% for DC terminals of less than 150 kW, and 78% for DC terminals of 150 kW and more. But a year later, these indicators fell to 81%, 77% and 76%, respectively. In short, these terminals, regardless of their capacity, break down or require maintenance more often than last year. So you’re more likely to run into an outlet that doesn’t work, though luckily that’s not the case most of the time. To fix the problem, the state wants to make a financial commitment by announcing 200 million euros in addition through the Adventir program. The goal? To finance the installation of new terminals, as well as their maintenance.
