Transylvania Open 2024 was held from February 5 to 11 in the BTarena multifunctional hall in Cluj-Napoca. Matches were held indoors, on hard, on two equipped tennis courts. A total of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams competed for 250 WTA points and $267,082 in prize money.

The players had two additional training fields at their disposal. The arrangement of the two playing fields required special logistical work to separate the multi-purpose hall, achieved by installing 3,000 square meters of sound-absorbing and fire-proof curtain. A team of almost 1,000 people worked on the organization of the tournament, and the budget was 1.5 million euros.

So far, the competition has been held four times: 2021 (Anette Kontaveit won, score 6-2, 6-3, after the final with Simona Halep), 2022 (Anna Blinkova won, score 6-2, 3-6, 6-2). , with Jasmin Paoloni), 2023 (Tamara Korpatch lifted the trophy after 6-3, 6-4 with Gabriela Ruse) and 2024 (Karolina Pliskova beat Ana Bohdan in the final, score 6-4, 6-3).
