FC Copenhagen – Manchester City 1-3 / RB Leipzig – Real Madrid 0-1, 1/8 finals of the Champions League

The match between RB Leipzig and Real Madrid started with a controversial moment.

Less than two minutes later, the Germans managed to score through Sesko, who was in the main position, but the referee raised the flag and the center canceled the success.

Another Leipzig player was sent off but did not affect the phase, but the referees in the VAR booth upheld the decision on the pitch.

Brahim Diaz scored the only goal of the game early in the second half, after a move in which he rounded several players and scored from the edge of the box.

In Denmark, Manchester City opened the scoring after just ten minutes thanks to Kevin De Bruyne’s first goal of the Champions League season.

Copenhagen equalized in the 34th minute through Mattsson, but the Brits took the lead at half-time through Bernardo Silva’s goal.

In extra time, Phil Foden increased the advantage of the guests, after a pass from the same De Bruyne.

The return games will take place on March 6.
