Referee Radu Petrescu was delegated by UEFA for the match “Feyenoord” – “Roma”. The two teams will meet in the Europa League round of 16 play-off after they met in the final of the first edition of the Conference League in 2022 (then with Istvan Kovac at centre-back).

Rada Petrescu will judge the Europa League match “Feyenoord” – “Roma”.

The match will take place on Thursday, from 19:45, at the “De Cape” stadium in Rotterdam.

Petrescu will be assisted by assistants Radu Ginguliak and Mircea Mykhailo Grigoriou, and the fourth referee will be Marcel Birsan.

Katelin Popa and Ovidiu Hatcegan (assistant) will be in the VAR room.

Both teams will meet for the third season in a row in European Cups. Roma won each time: 1-0 in the final of the Conference League (2021/22) and 4-2 (over two legs) in the quarter-final of the Europa League (2022/23).

Romania will also be represented in the Conference League: Augustus Constantin will be a referee observer for the match between Maccabi Haifa and Gent. The game will take place on Thursday, in Budapest, in the play-off for the eighth.
