“Participating in the 2024 presidential elections is the most important political decision in my life. I am not backing down from my intentions. I will appeal the decision of the election commission in the Supreme Court,” Borys Nadeytin said in Telegram, News.ro reports.

The Electoral Commission announced the discovery of forged signatures in the list submitted by Boris Nadyeddin, which he rejects.

Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 15-17.

This is the first election since Vladimir Putin amended the Constitution to be able to run for two more seats after having already held four seats since 1999.

After his first two terms, the most powerful man in the Kremlin served as prime minister for four years, from 2008 to 2012, due to term limits that no longer exist, after which he was re-elected twice.
