The player, who is ranked 65th in the WTA ranking, beat Erika Andreeva (112th WTA) in two sets at the end of the match, which lasted one hour and 48 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, Ana will meet Arantcha Rus (45 WTA), who beat Alize Cornet (104 WTA) with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-0.
