New version

As you probably know, if you follow automotive news, you know that the European Union wants to do whatever it takes to get hot cars off the road. Thus, from 2035, the latter will already be prohibited for sale in dealerships. And all producers will suffer. Thus, this also applies to Fiat, which will have to massively electrify its range in the coming years. If the company already has the 500th, then you will have to go even further. In this way, it is also preparing for the arrival of the new generation of Panda, which will be officially unveiled soon. Closely related to the Citroën ë-C3, this new iteration will occupy the niche of affordable electric city cars, thus following in the footsteps of the French version, which is already available to order. But this does not mean that the current thermal version will disappear from the catalog, on the contrary. Indeed, the current third-generation Panda, which has been in production since 2012, may not be entirely ousted from the automotive scene.

Marketing that goes on

News GSR2 standards at first, it seemed destined to end the pension due to technical compatibility issues. However, the Italian manufacturer has apparently decided to update its thermal city car to meet these new, more restrictive requirements. The move would confirm statements made by Italian unions a few weeks ago regarding the model’s future at the Pomigliano plant. However, this thermal option could be slightly redesigned and modernized, while the replica could be seen with a different dashboard than the model currently available at dealerships. Thus, the thermal city car should continue to appear in the catalog until 2026. It now remains to be seen if Fiat also plans to extend the life of the current heat 500, which is currently incompatible with the GSR2 standard. We should know more about this soon…
