Valorauto, used vehicle recycling for everyone

Valorauto is a joint venture between Stellantis and Galloo, a specialist in the processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, which aims to manage collection and processing of end-of-life vehicles. Valorauto services, launched a few months ago, were initially offered to professionals: from January 3, 2024, they are open individuals in Francein Belgium and Luxembourg.
Valorauto offers a free solution to support private vehicles (less than 3.5 tonnes) such as light trucks as well as unlicensed vehicles. It is possible support for any brand of caras well as all types of engines: thermal or electric.
In practice, all you have to do is register on the Valorauto website, then fill in your vehicle information on the form to receive Recovery offer vehicle. Customers can then leave their car in one of the 300 approved treatment centers Valorauto, or get it for free from home.

Stellantis invests in the circular economy

Valorauto carries out administrative procedures, provides the owner with a certificate of destruction, guarantees secure payments, as well as the protection of its customers’ data. Finally, the vehicle’s end-of-life treatment is carried out according to strict standards: the vehicle is decontaminated and processed, and reusable parts are re-evaluated and materials are recycled.
That’s why Valorauto offers reduce environmental impact end-of-life vehicles: a strategic end-to-end cycle company for Stellantis that will contribute to the improvement of the SUSTAINera Reuse offer for reuse of used original car partsmeeting the requirements of the new French regulations.
Indeed, car manufacturers are now obliged to provide their customers with solutions to manage the lifetime of their products (French law n ° 2020-105 of 10 February 2020 on the fight against waste and the economic cycle and decree n °2022-1495 of 24 November 2022 regarding the handling of end-of-life vehicles and extended producer responsibility).

In order to improve the quality of service, Valorauto plans to expand its network to cover 800 processing centers until the end of 2024.
