FC Hermannstadt did not return to the playoffs after a last-gasp draw with FC Voluntari (1:1) in the 24th round of the Superliga.

In the first match with Nicolae Dike on the technical bench, FC Voluntari saved a draw against FC Germantstadt.

In extra time, Voluntari was awarded a penalty from 11 meters after a foul on Dumiter by Geman following a VAR analysis.
