Aleksandr Alba is waiting for Muta in the Central Federal District of Cluj

CFR Cluj and Rapid are FCSB’s main rivals in the title race this season, and the Transylvanians have already changed their coach following the sacking of Andrea Mandorlini.

Adrian Mutu, who is out of contract after breaking with Neftchi Baku, has been selected by Nelutu Varga and the former Rapid coach wants to win the title with the team from Gruia.

Transylvania won the first two games with Mutu on the bench, but the coach is not entirely happy with the team at his disposal.

According to iamsport, Mutu wants Aleksandar Alba, a player he worked with when he was coaching Rapid.

At the age of 30, Albau has made 22 appearances and one assist in the current Romanian Super League campaign, and has been loaned to Hapoel Be’er Sheva this winter. Giulesti did not reach a consensus regarding the transfer of the player, so his departure to CFR Cluj is possible.

Valued at one million euros, Alba also played for Unir Urziceni, Concordia Kyajna, Akademik Klinceni and UTA Arad.

Alexander Alba has 239 matches in the Super League.
