The fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has been postponed to May 18

The fight was supposed to take place on February 17, but Fury received a cut above his eye during training.

The Briton is the WBC champion, and the Ukrainian Usyk holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles. Their fight in Saudi Arabia will be the first undisputed heavyweight championship in the four-belt era.

Usyk (37) wished Fury (35) a speedy recovery and said that he is “ready to fight for the undisputed title at any time and in any place.”

Fury won the WBC title after defeating Deontay Wilder in February 2020, while Usyk won his belts after defeating Anthony Joshua in September 2021. Both boxers are undefeated in their professional careers, writes News .ro.
