
Photos of the new electric SUV are camouflaged for now
Announced in the summer of 2022 with a concept car of the same name Mini Iceman will soon become a reality, during 2024. The British manufacturer has just presented several photos of its new product 100% electric city SUV currently undergoing testing, still camouflaged.

It was in the sand and dust of the desert that the new Mini Aceman had just completed its research tests after a winter test run in the Arctic Circle. In conditions of extreme sun and heat, at temperatures up to 50 degrees, the brand’s engineers tested the air conditioning system, charging and cooling the battery, as well as the electric transmission.
Mini Aceman: the first official information

The British firm did not provide further details on the matter, but the Aceman may share the same specifications as the Mini Cooper SE, which has a 218 hp (160 kW) engine for a range of around 400 km, according to the WLTP cycle. .
No pictures of the interior have been released yet, but Mini is detailing what its upcoming SUV will offer “Maximum interior space with limited external dimensions, short overhangs and characteristic driving dynamics”. There is enough space for five passengers and their luggage, while maintaining good compactness.
The upcoming Mini Aceman will be officially unveiled in the coming months and will Made in China Spotlight Automotive, a joint venture between BMW-Mini and Great Wall Motor. It is also expected that from 2026, the model will begin to be produced in Oxford, Great Britain.
