The speed of cars has always been at the center of discussions. And it is not for nothing that if the excesses are always more numerous and high, road safety still continues to warn about the risks of this practice.
Reflections on the project to no longer remove points from the driver’s license of drivers guilty of minor speed violations continue! https://t.co/w2bQX7OYx4

A new measure
Indeed, the latter will be the main cause of accidents in France, at the same time it will be both a provoking and an aggravating factor. This is why the government wants to increase the number of radars on our roads, and the latter are also a very interesting financial gain, as profits continue to rise. But that’s another discussion. In addition, the state also continues to introduce new driver aids in cars to reduce the risk of speeding. Most new cars are already connected to GPS and have road sign recognition cameras, as well as cruise control and speed limiter. But some want to go even further to fight more effectively what is now considered a real scourge on the roads. And this is all over the world. We will explain it to you.
When will we be home?
And it is not for nothing that the state of California is seriously considering a bill that would regulate the maximum speed circulation “from above”. adapting it to the route they follow. It would be an intelligent speed limiter that would act on an individual vehicle without the driver being able to oppose compliance. But this is not an absolute novelty, since back in 2017, the federal transport agency (National Transportation Safety Board or NTSB) recommended to the legislators of the American states to introduce the obligation automatic speed control in new cars. For example, a car could no longer exceed 80 miles per hour (or 128 kilometers per hour) on a highway where the limit is 70 (or 113 kilometers per hour). In Europe, this measure may also be of interest, particularly in France, but the government has not mentioned anything at the moment. Currently, it is necessary to broadcast a simple notification to warn the driver that he has exceeded the limit.
