Update Combo and Zafira

Peugeot, Citroën, Fiat, RAM, Opel: these five brands have updated their SUVs and passenger derivatives. There were large Boxer, Jumper, Ducato, Promaster and Movano, medium Expert, Jumpy, Scudo and Vivaro and finally small Partner, Berlingo, Doblo and Combo. The “submission of new functions” that became necessary, the former have not undergone restyling since 2014, the latter have continued their career without evolution since 2016… A few weeks after the SUVs, their passenger derivatives won, in turn: in Opel, Combo Life and Zafira. Good news, this update finally gave them some personality compared to their cousins. The brand tried to bring them in line with its new stylistic language. Stands out from the front, p application of the “Vizor” grid: the shield has been redesigned, the grille is now black and has 100% LED headlights. It’s more understated at the back, with a retouched light signature and a slightly reworked rocker panel. Finally, on board, in addition to the new steering wheel, we note adoption of a digital instrument panelA 10-inch central touch screen and almost twenty driver aids…

3 options Combo, 8 Zafira

Under the hood, the Combo and Zafira remained true to the engines that powered them until now. I understand, they are only available in a 100% electric version ! The engine remained the same 136 horsepower already in the range (the new 156-horsepower Stellantis unit is not available on these models), but the battery changes slightly. That leaves 50 kWh for the Combo (and increases to 345 km of range) and 75 kWh for the Zafira, but for the latter it now rises to 350 km thanks to the new chemical structure. This, in general, is what these “minivans” demonstrate again. All we needed to know were their prices, Opel just revealed them! The Combo is offered with two wheelbase lengths (under the names M and XL) and in two finishing options, respectively Elegance and Elegance Pack. Expect a minimum of €36,850 for the Combo M Elegance, and up to 41,800 euros for the Combo XL Elegance Pack. For its part, the Zafira also offers two wheelbase options (M and XL) and two trim options, Business and Business Pack. The cost of Zafira M Business starts at 51,620 euroswhile the range-topping Zafira XL Business Pack costs €66,770.

The prices are as elite as ever, fined 100% electricity.
