Russia is determined to bring the war with the West to an end and goes beyond simple propaganda, because words match actions, reports La Stampa, as quoted by Rador Radio Romania.

Moscow has developed a new military doctrine that envisages a permanent war against the West and arming itself for a long period of time, which leaves no hope for a ghostly peace.

While the country is now fully converted to a military economy, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council, the head of virtually all of Russia’s secret services, Mykola Patrushev, now also speaks with some clarity, though usually in a cryptic or apocalyptic way. but instead this time he is quite specific in his time references.

During a meeting at the St. Petersburg State Maritime Technical University (the topic is the training of technical personnel for high-tech industries), Patrushev directly called on the military to prepare for a long war with the West.

“The Anglo-Saxons are waging a proxy war against Russia, and the war will not stop even after the end of the hot phase of the conflict in Ukraine,” Patrushev said.

“The enemy repeatedly attacked our country with fire and sword. And now the United States, NATO and their satellites in the hands of the Nazi regime in Kyiv and various mercenaries are waging a proxy war against our people and our State, which the Anglo-Saxon world will not stop even with the end of the phase hot spots of the conflict in Ukraine,” he added.

In a series of threats, this is a decisive step forward compared to how Patrushev first directly touched on this topic in October 2022, when he limited himself to the statement that the West wanted to transfer hostilities from Ukrainian territories to Russian ones (then he said: “Against us, in fact, the NATO bloc is at war, its members provide the Kyiv regime with heavy weapons, ammunition, intelligence and provide training of military specialists”).

Whereas in July 2023, Patrushev said that, in his opinion, the West is working to foment a separatist national uprising in Karelia – following the old KGB scheme: blame others for what you are doing or have done.

Russian military doctrine is making a leap forward

But Patrushev is not the only one. And it is clear that the Russian military doctrine is taking a leap along the lines of “we will continue to fight against the West for a long time.”

The NSDC also urged Patrushev’s deputy, Nail Mukhitov, to state that the West wants to enslave Russia: “In 1941, Hitler issued a directive ordering fascist troops to wipe Leningrad off the face of the Earth. But Leningrad survived thanks to the courage and dedication of its residents and Soviet soldiers. However, the Western world has not yet understood that it cannot destroy the spirit and will of our people and enslave Russia.”

Then he moved from analysis to a gloomy forecast: “The sacred duty of Russians is to protect traditional values ​​and educate the younger generations by the example of the victories of Russian weapons. It is important to prevent attempts to rewrite history and fight political and economic pressure on Russia.”

And last week, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Serhii Naryshkin accused the Western special services of wanting to start a revolution in Russia, like the Ukrainian Euromaidan (which, according to him, was created by the CIA). That, he assured, will not succeed with Russia.
