“A number of system updates have been made, the most important of which is the introduction of the self-invoicing function, which allows you to send invoices on behalf of the supplier,” the institution’s press release said.

Another important aspect reported by taxpayers, the MoF notes, was the impossibility of accessing the system in situations where maintenance work takes place at the virtual private space level.

“In this sense, the CNIF team has identified the necessary technical operations so that taxpayers can normally use the electronic invoice, even during periods when maintenance works are ongoing,” the message reads.

In addition, accounting service providers have requested the ability to filter invoices based on certain specific criteria.

“This feature was introduced by changing the list of invoice calls available from web services that are automatically called through the API,” says MF.

The Ministry of Finance announced that from January 16, duplicate invoices can no longer be entered into the e-Invoice system.
