In the final, Hsieh and Zielinski (Taiwan/Poland) overcame the team of Desire Krawczyk/Neil Skupski (USA/Great Britain, 2nd seed) with a score of (5) 6-7, 6-4, 11-9.
Su-Wei and Zhang saved a match point at 8-9 in a super tiebreak. The match lasted two hours.
Su-Wei (who announced her retirement from singles) already had six Grand Slam titles in women’s doubles (two at Roland Garros and four at Wimbledon). On the other hand, Jan Zielinski won his first major title.
