Several thousand people took part in the Union Square in Iasi on Wednesday in demonstrations for the Union Day of the Romanian Principalities.

At one point, PNL leader Nicolae Chuke, PNL Secretary General Lucian Bode, Iasi District Council President Costel Alexe, Gheorghe Flutur and Mayor Mihai Kirika took to the stage.

At one point, shouts were heard from the crowd, News.ro reports.

But when Mihai Kirika spoke, there was complete silence, followed by thousands of participants.

During the pathetic speech, Mayor Yassiv made a gross mistake. Everything was broadcast live on TVR Iași and on the Facebook of the local station. At 2 hours 36 minutes.

“Today we have come to sincerely say about those who sacrificed for this nation. Alexander Ioan Cusa, King Ferdinand, Queen Mary, urine makers. They left us this proud legacy,” Chirica said.

The liberal from Iasi did not realize the mistake and continued his speech.

Netizens noticed this moment and the image also made it to TikTok.
