“We are a right-wing alliance, we have other right-wing parties with us, and we are confident that we will be able to create a majority. (…) I am a candidate from the UDR. The rest must be formalized,” Clotilde Armand said on Tuesday evening at Digi 24, according to Agerpres.

She added that she has many projects. “I am still running for office (…) because we have to continue what we started. We have many projects that are being implemented. We have many projects blocked by the city council that need to be unblocked,” said Clotilde Armand.

Arman noted that he supports Nikushor Dan because he trusts the project he has for Capital. “We keep our promise and we stand by what we said, that is, zero tolerance for corruption, zero tolerance for breaking the law, we want the construction and development of Bucharest, Sector 1, on the right basis,” the mayor said.

Regarding his conflict with local councilors of the PNL and PSD, Armand noted that this was a “betrayal” of the PNL towards the citizens.

“This betrayal took place at the national level, at the level of Bucharest and at the level of Sector 1. At the national level (…) the slogan was: ‘Vote PNL to rid the country of the red plague!’ and formed a government with the PSD. At the level of Bucharest, they are going to abandon the support of Nikušor Dan and promote Mr. Burduži (…), at the level of sector 1, I kept my pre-election commitments. (…) We have an agreement between PNL and me, which is lying in a closet, in the office of the vice mayor of PNL, untouched,” added Clotilde Armand.
