Stefano Pioli’s side got off to a good start at the Blueenergy Stadium with Ruben Loftus-Cheek opening the scoring (31st minute), but the home side equalized before the break thanks to Samardzic (42nd minute).

In the second half, Toven put Udinese ahead with a goal in the 62nd minute, but Luka Jovic equalized for Milan towards the end (83rd minute).

Milan struck in extra time thanks to Okafor, who scored 3:2 (90+3).

The game was also stopped for 10 minutes after the home fans chanted racist abuse at Mike Megnan.
