
The local police of the municipality of Bucharest reported on Saturday that until 14:00 21 cars were reported damaged by fallen trees due to the heavy snowfall in the capital, writes Agerpres.
In total, 42 trees fell in Bucharest.
According to the cited source, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the local police operated to check how sanitation operators are complying with their snow removal obligations at the level of the Bucharest municipality and to identify areas where snow is likely to form.
Sanitation services were active by plowing and spreading anti-skid material on Urgența 1 and 2 streets, as well as where they were asked to intervene, especially in the area of bridges, slopes, ramps, passages, local police show.
At the time of publication of this news, traffic on the roads is in winter conditions, the road is “black” on the main highways.
