According to court documents, two of Madonna’s fans have sued the American singer because she was more than two hours late to a concert held last month in New York, Agerpres reported with reference to the BBC.
The plaintiffs allege that the show was supposed to start at 20:30 local time on all three scheduled nights, but each night the show did not start until after 22:30 and ended around 01:00.
In a complaint filed in court, fans said they “wouldn’t have paid for the tickets” if they had known the show would end so late.
The BBC sent representatives to Madonna, Live Nation and the Barclays Center in New York for comment.
The main complaint, filed by Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hedden, claims that “many ticket holders who attended the weekday concerts had to get up early to go to work and/or have family responsibilities the next day,” according to Agerpres.
