And the surprise had to happen, because in the 31st minute, thanks to Alvaro Gomez, the hosts managed to open the score.
It was 1-1 at half-time after Ferran Torres equalized in the 45th minute, and the final went to Xavi, who scored twice from Kunde and Balde.
FC Barcelona holds the record for the number of trophies in the Spanish Cup – 31, the last one won three years ago.
