The representatives of the German Goethe College announce through a press release the beginning of the protest, which will begin on Thursday, by teachers (Romanian and German) and members of the auxiliary teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.

They complain about the “discretion and unscrupulousness of the members of the Control Body of the Ministry of Education, who have been conducting inspections at the educational institution since January 15.

German college officials also say all three of the school’s principals have resigned in protest.

  • “The demeaning treatment of all our colleagues interviewed during the inspection led to the three principals of the college submitting their general resignations in protest and a fine against their conduct.
  • In view of what has been presented, we express our solidarity with the three principals, which is why we are starting this protest action, during which we will ensure classroom supervision of students, without assessment and teaching of didactic content.
  • The protest action will continue until the situation is resolved by reinstatement of the three principals of the college,” Goethe College employees say.
