Olena Ostapenko (26 years old) won the WTA tournament in Adelaide, competition of the “500” category. In the final, the athlete from Latvia beat Daria Kasaktina (26 years old – 15th place in the world) with a score of 6-3, 6-2.

The first set was a three-break affair, and Jelena won the match 6-3, serving just once.

The second set from the start was even more flawed, as evidenced by four breaks.

More aggressive and willing to take risks, Ostapenko took the upper hand in three sets from the rematch, and the set went back to her with a score of 6-2. The Latvian scored the fourth match point.
