
The Romanian national team ends the European women’s polo championship in 14th place after losing 7-3 to the Turkish national team in Eindhoven on Tuesday.

Romania’s CE Women’s Polo results:
- Group C (3rd place): 12-13 against the Czech Republic, 4-15 against Serbia, 9-7 against Turkey.
- Places 13-16: 18-6 against Bulgaria, 3-7 against Turkey.
In the previous tournament, the Romanian women’s team took 11th place during their first participation.
In a similar men’s competition, Romania play in Dubrovnik, where they already have two wins, 12-8 over the Netherlands and 13-5 over Slovenia, and will face Slovakia, also on Tuesday.
The European Championship will be held from January 4 to 16 in Dubrovnik/Zagreb (men’s), respectively between January 5 and 13 in Eindhoven (women’s), writes News.ro.
