Dropped from nearly 5,000 meters and still works: The story of this amazing mobile phone that fell from the cabin of an Alaska Airlines Boeing, which opened during a flight on Friday in the US, will annoy everyone who broke their phone with a simple blow to the tiles, reports AFP.
On Sunday, a person reported to X, formerly Twitter, that they found the phone on the side of the road near Portland, Oregon, with a slightly scratched screen and an email from the airline about baggage.
“Still in flight mode, battery half charged,” wrote Shonathan Bates on X, fascinated by the discovery of a device that “survived a drop of about 5,000 feet completely intact.”
The image shows how the screen works smoothly with the end of the charging cable extended.
“Thank you for your help,” Jennifer Homendi, head of the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which is investigating the incident, wrote on the same network on Monday. “I would really like to meet you.”
