Sailors and military divers will take part in the feast of the Epiphany in Constanta, the first part of the Honor Guard of the religious procession, which will pass from the Cathedral to the port of Tomis.

The Naval Forces of Romania announced that on Saturday in Constanta they will take part in events on the occasion of the religious celebration of the Baptism of the Lord, writes News.ro.

Military sailors, together with the Military Music of the Naval Forces, will be present in front of the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul and will form part of the Guard of Honor formed to cover the route between the Cathedral and the tourist port of Tomis. , along with a council of priests, water chariots and the faithful participating in the Procession of the Cross.

“In the service of the consecration of the water of the Diving Center, insurance divers, professional swimmers and boats of the Bombard type with divers on board will take part in the raising of three crosses thrown into the water by Archbishop Tomisky. At the same time, an ambulance crew will be present at the event to ensure measures to prevent and eliminate possible emergency situations,” the Navy representatives noted.

Servicemen of other categories of the Romanian army and representatives of the local authorities from the Constanta garrison, as well as other non-governmental organizations, will also be present at the service together with the representatives of the Romanian naval forces.
