A car caught fire while driving on Saturday afternoon on the Soareluy motorway. Firefighters were called to intervene at the 206th kilometer on the road to Constanta. The driver was an 18-year-old woman who had a panic attack.

Firefighters from the Emergency Inspectorate of Constanța were notified on Saturday by calling 112 about a fire in a car on the Soarelui highway (A2), reports ZIUA de Constanța.

The incident happened on the A2, at kilometer 206, in the direction of Constanta. The Mezhidia fire department, as well as the SMURD crew, intervened at the scene.

According to information released later by ISU Constanța, the fire was extinguished, but the car was completely burned.

“At the scene of the incident, an 18-year-old woman, who had a panic attack, was helped by the crew of the SMURD. The young woman refused to be transported to the hospital,” the response teams report.
