A man was deliberately hit by a car and dragged several meters on the pavement on Saturday in Slatin after chasing another driver.

The incident took place at the intersection of Jonašku Street and Nicolae Titulescu Boulevard in Slatin, writes Gazeta Nouă, which published images of the shocking scenes.

In the traffic jam, two drivers allegedly fought, one of whom stopped the car, got out and sat down in front of the other’s car. The latter pressed the accelerator pedal, knocking down the man who was driving in front, who was dragged several meters under the car onto the pavement.

Several police cars and medical teams arrived at the scene of the incident.
