“A maternity hospital, educational institutions, a shopping center, high-rise residential buildings and private houses, a commercial warehouse and a parking lot. Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and other cities,” Zelenskyy wrote on social networks.

“Today, Russia has used almost all types of weapons from its arsenal: Kinjal, S-300, cruise missiles and drones. Strategic bombers launched Kh-101/Kh-505 missiles. In total, about 110 missiles were fired over Ukraine, most of which were shot down,” he continued.

“We will definitely respond to terrorist attacks. And we will continue to fight for the safety of our entire country, every city and every citizen. Russian terrorism must and will lose,” the President of Ukraine noted.

The massive airstrike left at least 10 dead and dozens injured

Russia launched its biggest drone and missile attack on Ukraine in months on Friday, killing 10 people and wounding at least 60 in Kyiv and cities in the south, west and east of the country, Reuters reported.

Dozens of people were injured, damage was reported in the maternity hospital in the center of the city of Dnipro and buildings in Lviv in the west of the country, the Black Sea port of Odesa and Kharkiv in the east of the country.

The death of two people has been confirmed in the capital of Kyiv, probably several people were trapped under the rubble in the warehouse, mayor Vitaliy Klitschko wrote in Telegram.

In Odesa, as a result of rocket attacks on residential buildings, two people were killed, at least 15 people were injured, including two children, the governor of the region reported.

“It can be said that it was a mass attack,” Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said on television.

“The enemy fired at the objects of social and vital purpose”

Ukraine has warned for weeks that Russia may deploy missiles to launch a major air campaign targeting the energy system.

Last year, millions of people were left in the dark and cold when Russian attacks targeted the power grid. The Ministry of Energy reported power outages in four regions after the airstrike on Friday.

In the Lviv region, which borders Poland, strikes on a key infrastructure object have been confirmed, the President’s Office reported, refusing to specify which one.

“The enemy struck the objects of social and vital infrastructure,” said Prime Minister Denys Shmigal.

The Air Force said Russia used hypersonic, cruise and ballistic missiles, including ones that are extremely difficult to intercept.
