
Three people died in an accident on Friday morning on DN 2 Urziceni – Buzău, in the area of the city of Kotorka in the county of Jalomica.
“This morning, around 06:30, on DN2 – E85, in the radius of the city of Kotorka, there was a traffic accident, as a result of which three people died. From the first checks, it turned out that when the car was moving from the direction of Buzău to Bucharest, it could have collided with a road train traveling in the opposite direction,” IPJ Ialomiţa notes.
As a result of the impact, three people who were in the car were killed.
According to ISU Ialomiţa, three emergency crews from the Urzičeni Fire Department intervened with a fire engine, an evacuation vehicle and a SMURD ambulance in a road accident in the city of Kotorca, which involved three cars and a train.
Two brigades of the emergency service of the Yalomitsa district came to their support.
“Eight victims were found at the scene. Three people received life-threatening injuries, unfortunately, they died. The other five persons, who are conscious and cooperating, were given first qualified medical aid, and there was no need to transport them to the hospital,” the ISU reported.
Investigative actions are being carried out on the grounds of committing the crime of involuntary manslaughter.
At this time, traffic is blocked in both directions.
Initially, the Traffic Information Center reported that three cars and a truck were involved in the accident, and the three victims were located. “After the collision of three cars and a truck, three victims are in custody, maneuvers are underway to extract them from one of the damaged cars,” the source said.
