
After availability disappeared from the catalog in 2016 in favor of Toyota Auris, Corolla returned to the manufacturer’s catalog in two years. And the choice of Toyota justified itself, as the sedan took first place in sales of new cars for several years. THE restyled in 2022 doesn’t have any significant new features in terms of design, except for the interior lights. In any case, most of the ads you’ll find will be for the raw version.
The interior is also very neat
Toyota did a very good job in the interior. The front fabric seats are very comfortable. The top trim is even enhanced with leather and Alcantara reinforcements, as well as a better lateral support. At the time of release, the instrument panel was completely newwith a digital counter and 8-inch central touch screen. The manufacturer still kept the physical buttons on both sides of it.

As with the exterior, the interior of the restyling version of this Toyota Corolla does not change much. The central screen says goodbye to its physical buttons and increases in centimeters. Now measuring 10.5 inches. The digital meter also gains weight, and now measures 12.3 inches.

Corolla only in hybrid
Toyota Corolla only offers hybrid engines4 in total, 2 before the restyling and 2 after, which are ultimately an improvement of the hybrid technology already present on the 2018 model. But which one to choose? Unlike other models we may have presented to you in the past, neither engine has any particular problems. Once again, Toyota deserves the nickname of the king of reliability. The biggest serial problem electronic bugs on the center screen. This is solved quite easily with a simple update. So we advise you to go for a smaller engine instead, 1.8 122 or 140 hp, as the performance gap with the 2L is not very significant. This will also reduce the bill.
From the point of view of driving pleasure, the model remains wise, but holds the road very well.
