The match of the 21st round of the Super League UTA and the University of Craiova drew 2:2. Olteni made an impressive comeback after leading 2-0 early in the game.

The team coached by Mircea Rednik got off to a great start, with Claudio Mikowski opening the scoring in the 3rd minute with a shot from inside the box.

The advantage of the Aradians was doubled in just four minutes, when the same Mikowski pressed Raul Silva, who sent it into his own goal.

Both squads struggled until the 20th minute, with Volodymyr Skreciu and Claudio Mikowski substituted through injury.

UTA scored again in the 40th minute, but Marcelo Freitas’ goal was disallowed by VAR for offside.

In the extra time of the first half, the University of Craiova closed the gap thanks to Nikushor Bank.

The second half started just as impressively, and Jasmin Kurtic missed the equalizer from a free kick.

The score was still 2-2 in the 75th minute when Aleksandru Mitrice scored from outside the box.

With only one point scored, the Oltenians temporarily rise to the second place in the rating, and UTA rises above the playoff places.
