VAR records will be published after each match day in Spain

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and La Liga agreed on Tuesday to start publishing images and conversations between the referee on the pitch and the VAR referee when reviewing the controversial phase, writes Mundo Deportivo.

The premiere of the project will take place during the Spanish Super Cup, the semi-finals on January 10 and 11, as well as the final on January 14.

Then, starting from the XX stage of the first league, respectively the XXII stage of the second league in January, the records will be published at the end of each day in which the matches are played.

According to the federation, the initiative is aimed at ensuring greater transparency of officiating in professional football and improving the fan experience.

In the coming days, the RFEF and LaLiga will release more materials and information for fans to understand how the new event will work.
