After two successful generations, In 2021, Renault completely updated its Kangoo SUV. No more curves for the Kangoo. If the model keeps her good nature, she looks more mature. Edges are sharper, corners are sharper and it’s all obviously imbued with Renault styling, starting with the radiator grille with a prominent front logo. The style also prevails in the body guards, which simply disappear from the sides to give a more refined look. Look, which is also inspired by the world of SUVs with its 17-inch diamond-coated rims and aluminum-style skis at the bottom of the shields at the highest trim level. There are also front and rear lights, as well as fog lights fully LED. And Kangoo is equipped with intelligent arcs on the roof, which return to the longitudinal guides without tools.

Revolution on board

The revolution is at least as noticeable in the passenger compartment, where the onboard furniture now takes on a very horizontal look, and decorated with beautiful “dark wood” inlays that enhance the finish of this new model. In the center is an indispensable screen for controlling multimedia displays 8 inches diagonal. As on the Captur, the glove box has the shape of a large box. Unlike its competitors in Stellantis, Renault decided to support it with heat engines.

Great Kangoo to the rescue of families

Presented at the Munich Motor Show, The Grand Kangoo is longer and has a much larger wheelbase, to maximize space on board. Its seven seats are independent (unlike the Kangoo, which settles for a 2-3/1-3 two-seater) and modular: the seats are sliding, folding and removable, even the front passenger! Thus, Renault promises 500 liters of trunk volume in a seven-seater configuration, and up to 3750 liters after removing 5 rear seats ! Access to the trunk is via a standard tailgate, but hinged doors will be available as an option.

In addition to the electric version, the Grand Kangoo will be available in Petrol TCe with a capacity of 130 horsepower, diesel dCi with a capacity of 95 horsepower.
