Luton manager Rob Edwards immediately ran to Tom Lockyer, who was surrounded by players before paramedics took them off and treated him on the pitch for more than ten minutes.
Half an hour after the incident, the game was officially suspended.
Currently, the football player’s condition is stable, he is conscious and reacting. This is not the first time Lockyer has been in trouble.
Luton’s captain suffered a similar incident in the promotion playoffs in the spring and required heart surgery.
Doctors cleared Tom Lockyer to return to the field in June.
