France has qualified for the final act of the Women’s World Handball Championship.
The French did not spare the third host of the competition and dominated the first half. They went to the break with an advantage of 8 goals.
In the second half, the team from the Hexagon continued to control the contest and maintained a comfortable lead over the Swedes.
Norway needed extra time in the other semi-final against Denmark and a last-second goal to reach the final.
Norway and France also met in the 2021 World Cup final, with the Nordics winning 29-22.
The finals (small and large) will take place on December 17 at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
