Fluminense and Manchester City, already qualified for the semi-finals, got to know their rivals at the Club World Cup. Urawa and Al Ahli qualified in the penultimate act of the competition.

Fluminense – Al-Ahly and Urawa – Manchester City, semi-finals of the Club World Cup

Urawa reached the semi-finals of the Club World Cup after beating Leon 1-0.

Alex Schalk scored the only goal in the match in the 78th minute.

In the other match of the day, Al Ahli beat Al Ittihad 3-1 in a match that saw Karim Benzema strike from 11 meters.

Ali Maalul opened the scoring in the 21st minute, and Benzema missed an opportunity to equalize (min. 45) by missing a penalty.

In the second half, “El-Shahat” doubled the home team’s advantage (min. 59), and Ashur (min. 62) scored 3:0. The final score was set by Benzema, who reduced the deficit in the 90th + 2nd minute.
